HTC is a Taiwanese company that was to begin with an ODM (Original Design Manufacturer) but later started selling its smart phones under its own brand name. Companies like T-Mobile, Sprint, Verizon, i-mate and other companies have often used re-branded HTC phones, a prominent example is the T-Mobile G1, the first Android based phone. The HTC Hero was the first phone to really kick-start the Google Android craze, and here we have what some might call its updated version, the HTC Droid ERIS.

Palm has long been thought of by many people as being the Apple of hand-helds. While we may not completely agree with the sentiment we do find sense in the comparison, Palm’s forte for the large part have been well designed, classy and easy to use products. Their webOS first debuted last year and wowed many people with its intuitive interface. The Palm Pre Plus available with Verizon uses webOS and it shows that its a Palm device through and through.

The Motorola Droid is a recently released Google Android based cellphone that hit the US markets and caused somewhat of a stir due to its impressive form and function. In this post we review its GSM version, the Motorola Milestone recently released in Europe that has not been turning as many heads so to speak. The latest offering from Hewlett-Packard, the HP iPAQ Glisten cellphone is quite pleasing to the eye and as it is made by a company and is a brand that is a long-time user of Microsoft Windows Mobile, you may well expect a very smooth experience. The other most notably pleasing feature that we found on the HP iPAQ Glisten mobile phone was its prominently featured and eminently usable QWERTY style keyboard.

The Google Nexus One was one of the most eagerly awaited devices before the Apple iPad hysteria hit the streets. After the less than amazing performance of the T-Mobile G1 Android smart phone, here was a chance for Google to prove critics wrong and come out with a phone that would be an effective challenger to the highly lauded Apple iPhone and its successor the Apple iPhone 3G. And didn’t the Google Nexus One cellphone do just that!

Apple iPhone 3GS is claimed to be the most powerful phone by Apple Inc. It contains almost all the functionalities that a good cell phone should have.
