BBC first decided to launch this news at the start of month but due to ant-competitive concern it has to change this decision. The director of BBC Future Media & technology, Erik Huggers said, “We know that increasing numbers of you want to access BBC output on-the-go and the rapid growth of internet-connected mobiles and smart phones in the market means we can cost-effectively provide our content and services on these devices, and this is a really important way for us to deliver online services in the future”. He also added, “The first class journalism that you expect from the BBC is now available to you in a way that is simple, personalized and optimized for mobile devices”.

BBC news Application for iPhone and iPad will enable the user to get up-to-the-minutes new and information across the world. User will enjoy Live streaming of news channels and also read news stories and up-to-date headlines. This news app is free of cost.
