Blackberry Curve 9300, a 3G-capable and Affordable Smartphone , Announced by RIM

RIM has announced an affordable and 3G capable phone, Blackberry Curve 9300 at last . This phone regarded as the twin of Blackberry Curve 8520. We have already seen its live photos on the web some days before when it was leaked unofficially. But from now all the speculations and rumors about it comes to end and finally we have its official specifications.

There is only some features which differ Blackberry Curve 3G 9300 from curve 8520; first difference is that curve 9300 has a built-in GPS receiver while later phone hasn’t and second one is that curve 9300 also comes with HSDPA-support whereas in Curve 8520 not render this support. However both Blackberry phones offer prop up to Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n.

This phone will run on new Blackberry 6 operating system and the same feature is on hand with Blackberry Torch too. It features with a standard 3.5mm audio jack, dedicated music keys and a microSDHC card slot. It is designed with 2.46 inches, 256K-color QVGA display that brings the resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. It is packed with QWERTY keyboard and Touch-sensitive optical trackpad. At the backstage you will find 2MP fixed focus camera that has the resolution power of 1600×1200 pixels and also has video recording capability. Following facilities for communication are rendered by it such as SMS, MMS, Email, Push Email and IM. You can also play game on this phone.

The latest Blackberry 3G curve 9300 is already available in the Canadian market and very soon it will hit the other countries as well.
