Acer beTouch E140 with AT&T-compatible 3G bands spotted at FCC

Acer beTouch E140 is the new Android-supporting handset of Acer and it is officially announced two weeks before. Now we get the news the Acer is working on a new version of this gadget that will come with 3G supporting features and all this efforts are made to make this handset available at the shelves of AT&T.

The Acer beTouch 3G version for AT&T has just passed through FCC therefore we came to know about its probable launch. The handset which announced some weeks ago is only providing support to 900MHz / 2100MHz European HSDPA bands.  You may know about the Dell Venue Pro 3G versions which also spotted at FCC.

In case the 600Mhz, QVGA Acer beTouch E140 would hit the shelves of AT&T then there is possibility that it gives tough competition to the T-Mobile Comet or LG Optimus One, though this small smartphone has some entry level specs and facets.

Acer liquid Metal, that company introduced last month, may also get a boost in sale with its high end specs and especially because of 4.8 inch  stylish widescreen. Now we have to see when finally Acer beTouch E140 will come into the stores of AT&T.
