Casio G’zOne Brigade cellphone, one tough cookie

Casio is a brand which is associated with things like wristwatches and calculators but Casio is in reality a Japan based multinational company that produces all sorts of electronic equipment including PDAs, cellphones, cameras, cash registers, handheld computers, digital diaries and synthesizers. Casio recently launched the Casio G’zOne Brigade mobile phone soon to be available on Verizon Wireless. The Casio G’zOne Brigade is also a PTT device which we will tell you more about below.

The Casio G’zOne Brigade cellphone is mobile phone with a clamshell form factor that is rather bulky and does nothing to hide it. This Casio G’zOne Brigade military standard 810F compliant phone is shock, vibration, water, dust and salt-fog resistant and is quite capable of handling the rough and tumble ways of people living in the modern concrete jungles.

The Casio G’zOne Brigade also is quite tech savvy and features PTT (Push to Talk over Cellular) capability as well as a four row QWERTY style keyboard that does its job very well indeed.

The main technical specifications for the Casio G’zOne Brigade mobile phone include a 3.2 Mega Pixel camera with auto-focus and flash, a 2.9″ wide QVGA display as well as a PMOLED 1.2″ monochrome display on the outside.

Other key features of the Casio G’zOne Brigade cell phone include text-to-speech capability as well as dedicated keys for both the text to speech function as well as messaging, document viewer (PDF, TXT, most Microsoft Office Documents) and also a microSD/microSDHC card slot with support for up to 16 GB of expandable memory.

The Casio G’zOne Brigade mobile phone is quite convincingly just what it is designed to be, a tough device that can handle the rough and ready ways of many of our modern day youth, surviving many a fall and dipping. The Push to Talk functionality is also interesting not to mention quite possibly economical as many mobile service providers feature this service free of cost.

To conclude, this phone is definitely for people who love texting and talking to groups of friends but are rather careless about handling their electronic devices. The military standard 810F compliant Casio G’zOne Brigade, while not invincible, is indeed, one tough cookie of a phone.
