T-Mobile most recently announced a new phone for the carrier’s lineup, the T-Mobile Garminfone which is suspiciously like the Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50. Garmin-Asus are a relatively new formed co-operative alliance and so far have few products in their portfolio but they are growing quickly with high quality products and are expanding in growing markets. Such as India, where Garmin-Asus have launched the Garmin-Asus nüvifone M10 pre-loaded with maps for 62 major Indian cities through the auspices of Navteq (a company wholly owned by Nokia). Garmin is a well established company providing communication, information and navigation devices and applications as well as being the global leader in satellite navigation. Asus on the other hand is a well known hardware components, peripherals, laptops and more recently mobile phones manufacturer.
