ASUS E600 is the latest Windows phone 7 the picture of which is revealed and we also get some of its videos on the internet. This device’s pictures are first leaked in Pakistan and then rolled out on the internet.

T-Mobile most recently announced a new phone for the carrier’s lineup, the T-Mobile Garminfone which is suspiciously like the Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50. Okay, so there is nothing suspicious about it and the T-Mobile Garminfone is pretty much the Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50. Regardless, the upcoming T-Mobile Garminfone has a whole lot of features and is fully GPS capable, furthermore, you also get a proper smart phone experience as the T-Mobile Garminfone mobile phone is based on Android.

The technical specifications for the T-Mobile Garminfone include a 3.5″ HVGA capacitive touchscreen with multi-touch functionality, accelerometer, 4 GB internal storage (most of which is used to store the pre-loaded maps for North America), microSD for up to 32 GB of expandable memory, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), USB 2.0, 3 MP camera with auto-focus and geo-tagging and GPS with aGPS functionality.

Gamin-Asus nuvifone M10 GPS cellphone out now in India

Garmin-Asus are a relatively new formed co-operative alliance and so far have few products in their portfolio but they are growing quickly with high quality products and are expanding in growing markets. Such as India, where Garmin-Asus have launched the Garmin-Asus nüvifone M10 pre-loaded with maps for 62 major Indian cities through the auspices of Navteq (a company wholly owned by Nokia). The Garmin-Asus nuvifone M10 smart phone not only has GPS but a lot of other features that are quite intriguing and we reveal them below.

The Garmin-Asus nüvifone M10 cellphone is a slightly unbalanced device as it runs the latest software, Windows Mobile 6.5.3 on a slightly outdated 600 MHz processor (a Qualcomm MSM 7227 CPU). True, it is not so uneven as that particularly considering the HTC Smart which runs Brew MP on a 300 MHz processor but considering the Garmin-Asus nuvifone M10 mobile phone has the latest WinMo OS, one would expect at least a Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz processor.

Garmin is a well established company providing communication, information and navigation devices and applications as well as being the global leader in satellite navigation. Asus on the other hand is a well known hardware components, peripherals, laptops and more recently mobile phones manufacturer. The Garmin-Asus alliance is formed to take advantage of the specialties of both firms and therefore produce cellphones that can capture the market such as the yet to be released Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50.

As both ASUSTek and Garmin are part of the Open Handset Alliance, it is perhaps unsurprising that the Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50 is an Android OS based smart phone. This does not of course mean that Garmin-Asus only produces Android OS based phones as the soon to be released M10 is set to use the Microsoft Windows Mobile OS.

As of yet, the technical specifications known about the Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50 mobile phone are as follows: it has a 3.5″ display with a 320 x 480 px resolution, built in 4 GB of memory (some of which will doubtless be used for the included GPS software’s maps and files) and a microSD/microSDHC card slot for expandable memory, a 3.15 Mega Pixel camera that will of course include geo tagging, quad band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) and dual band UMTS (2100/900 MHz) and is therefore 3G capable with UMTS or HSPA.

Other than this the Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50 is set to include all standard functions such as Bluetooth, video and audio playback, etc.

Alongside this the Garmin-Asus nuvifone A50 is also set to include sync compatibility with the Microsoft Exchange server as well as the ability to wirelessly synchronize your calendar, your contacts and of course your enterprise e-mail.

And of course one cannot leave out the most compelling feature of the Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50 which is of course expected to be its out of the box capability to act as a functional and easy to use GPS device.

We really expect great things from the Garmin-Asus nüvifone A50 when it is released this Q1 2010 and would definitely give it a test run when we get our hands on one.
