The smart phone is 7.1 mm thick, and it is a good deal slimmer than the majority of the 3G phones currently on the market. The Droid RAZR is the name given to it in the United States, where it will be running on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. It will be marketed as the Motorola RAZR in other countries, and there will be more information on the carriers and networks compatible with the device coming in the future.

The RAZR features a 4.3 inch wide screen, qHD resolution, and Super AMOLED lighting. Motorola claims that this will provide the phone with a better color and contrast than the iPhone 4S. The dual core, 1.2 GHz processor will run the phone at lightning speeds, and Motorola boasts that the RAZR will be the first phone that will be able to access and download Netflix movies in full HD.

Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 is the OS for the RAZR, as the phone was launched before Google’s release of its Ice Cream Sandwich OS in the next few days. As with all Motorola phones, the RAZR can be docked on a Motorola lapdock to give it full Firefox capabilities. Smart Actions is a feature that enables users to save battery life with simple actions like switching GPS and Bluetooth off automatically, and it has a number of automated features that make using the phone a delight. The MotoCast streaming software enables users to stream content to their phones from their computers, this giving them instant access to personal media.

Droid RAZR is made stylish with the integration of a qHD (960 x 540) Super AMOLED touchscreen display features with Gorilla Glass.
