Dell Aero has hit the shelves of AT&T US, works on outdated Android 1.5 Platform

The Dell Aero has been announced about half year ago but now it is officially launched for US. Though the looks of this phone is fabulous due to pretty nice hardware but the outdated Android 1.5 OS has reduced its potential customers.

When Dell introduced the speciation of Aero in March then no one showed his interest in the Donuts .Now on its final launched we can say that only a few people will attract toward it because there are a number of brands which are offering updated version of Android with stunning features such as Motorola charm, Dell thunder etc. There is no confirmation from Dell that when an updated version of it will be available.

According to my opinion, the people will not like to buy the outdated version mobile in case when they have better choices. Moreover, it is a known fact that some android applications may not compatible with Android 1.5.

Dell Aero packs with a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen of the uncommon nHD resolution, a 624MHz processor, 2GB microSD card, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support and an inbuilt GPS receiver.  The weight of this Dell phone is only 104 grams and it is about 11.7mm thin.

However the people who still want to buy it; they can get it for 100 USD dollars with a new 2-year contract with AT&T and 300 US dollars without a contract. AT& T will have it in stock soon but  if you want to buy it now then Dell’s online shop is the suitable place for you.
