Droid R2-D2 Limited Edition will be available on Verizon on September 30 for $350

Motorola Droid R2-D2 is a stylish gadget that comes with various functions and facilities. The Verizon has just announced that it will charge almost $249 for handset and $100 mail-in rebate on contract. It implies that you must have $350 to own this modish handset of Motorola from Verizon.  This Motorola phone will hit the market in coming Thursday on 30 September.  Check the latest photos of this gadget in which it looks quite fabulous.

At this price you will have a phone features with  star wars themed dock and a device the design of which resembles with carbonite.  You will also get a wide variety of custom live wallpapers, sounds, photos, widgets and all these things are really wonderful in all respects. It comes with a binoculars app that may be a digital zoom tool (according to my imagination). It is in the air that the same feature may be available with Droid 2 Global Edition. But it is not easy to say anything at that time with surety.

According to release note, the customers who  are using android 2.1 will be able to get from Verizon a special Empire Strikes back application and its related content for $2.99 and this fee has to pay one time.
