Like they, if you fail for the first time, try again and again. And probably that is what LG is trying to do. Unfortunately, when LG wanted an Intel powered phone last year, they came up with an Android phone at CES 2011.

This year, LG is going to debut its ‘second’ Intel powered phone at CES 2012, but the major concerns remain still the same, will the phone yield some reputation to LG in the cell phone market? The first phone that LG launched with an Intel chip set at CES 2011 was running on Morrestown. The device was eventually scrapped, and the reason why they did so was due to lack of marketability.

If we closely look at the cell phone market, we do realize that there are a lot of great players like LG, Samsung, HTC, Microsoft, Sony Ericsson, Nokia and much more. LG, no doubt has a spot in the electronics and gadgetry market, but has yet to prove it self in the cell phone market.

This year, LG has planned to take a second swing on their Intel powered cell phone with Intel’s next generation Medfield System on a chip. Hopefully things will turn out to be as expected by team at LG and the cell phone bring good news for the company. The expected release of the device is said to be in March, 2012.

Nokia announced its Windows Phone-based Lumia 710 a couple of months ago, and now, after being launched in Taiwan, the device is ready to be shipped to Europe, the U.S., India, Hong Kong, Russia and Singapore – at least that’s what Nokia has announced recently.

The SIM-free version of the Nokia Lumia 710 is expected to come to the UK in the beginning of January and to be soldfor €270 ($360), which is not as cheap as we hoped it to be, but still not as expensive as the elder sibling of the 710 – the Nokia Lumia 800 (sold for about $625). Anyway, if you still think €270 is too much for a mid-range WP-based smartphone, you can always find some good Nokia Lumia 710 deals with mobile operators in your neighborhood– they’ll most likely give you the phone for free with rather affordable monthly plans. Three UK has already confirmed they’ll start selling the phone in January and placed it on the coming soon page of their website; I guess other UK mobile operators will also announce the phone soon, and then the phone will head to other European countries.

As for the U.S., the Nokia Lumia 710 is going to be released there via T-Mobile, priced at $49 with a two-year contract, which will probably make the phone competitive to the huge number of Android phones that are so popular in the U.S. now. The exact release date of the phone in the states isn’t known yet, but, according to GSMArena, it’s expected to take place in the beginning of 2012, presumably on January 11.

The details of the release of the Nokia Lumia 710 in other countries aren’t known yet, but I guess Nokia will not make us wait for too long.

Though the Lumia 710 is classified as a mid-range phone, which is not as powerful as the Lumia 800, it still has a rather good 3.7-inch screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution, protected by Gorilla Glass. Its 1.4 GHz Scorpion processor with 512 MB RAM can’t be called a weak one, so the phone is expected to have a rather fast performance. The 5MP camera with auto-focus and LED-flask taking 2592х1944 pictures and 720p videos at 30fps is also a nice addition, along with all the connectivity features each modern smartphone has. Perhaps the only shortcoming of this phone is the absence of a microSD card slot, but the internal 8GB storage it has is perhaps enough for most users.

Samsung has many different mobile phone deals from which consumers can choose. One specific handset that many people have purchased is the Samsung Galaxy S Fascinate. A smartphone, the Fascinate is an Android phone.

Phones using the Android operating system are able to take advantage of the literally thousands of apps that are part of the Android Market. These apps come in a wide range from entertaining games to useful tools to assist with work. The Samsung Fascinate is able to take full advantage of these apps as it was designed to fully integrate with all Google services. The Fascinate makes it easier to stay in connect with a Gmail email account while taking advantage of other Google options such as Google Maps and access to YouTube videos.

The Samsung Fascinate features a touchscreen design. The screen measures an adequate 4 inches. The colours produced with the Super AMOLED display are very vivid. With some phones, users have difficulty being able to view the screen during daylight. However, this is not an issue with the Fascinate. It comes with an anti-reflective screen which will make viewing outside in the sunlight a snap. The slim design of the phone makes it easy to carry. Another feature of the Fascinate is its ability to operate with less overall battery charge than other smartphones. Typically, smartphones are quite draining on batteries due to the large amount of tasks they perform. Samsung designed the Fascinate with this in mind. They wanted to be able to make the battery power used more efficiently. Part of this is Samsung’s drive to become a much green company and leave a smaller carbon footprint. Guides for using the Samsung are provided virtually rather than printed on paper. Also, many videos showing how to accomplish certain tasks can be found online at Samsung.

If you’re looking for fantastic value mobile phone deals on Samsung handsets, then visit the online retailer Dialaphone.co.uk who have a wide range of packages available online.

A speed race has popped up over the last few years as the smartphone’s popularity has increased. The best smartphones are the ones that don’t just have fast processors and other components. They’re the ones that combine those impressive specs with a fast data connection.

Cell carriers have always marketed based on their 3G coverage and speeds, and now they’re rolling out 4G networks across the nation. Verizon’s 4G LTE network is typically regarded as the fastest, and both AT&T and Sprint are rolling out LTE as well. For now, though, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile all feature 4G networks based on HSPA+ or WiMax. Whatever the underlying technology is, the connections are fast, so fast that they’re beginning to surpass speeds of the former broadband leaders, cable and DSL. These five phones are all devices that use 4G to tear through downloads, web browsing or whatever else you throw at them.

Motorola Droid RAZR (Verizon): The Droid RAZR is launching on Verizon in November of 2011. It combines a large screen with a Kevlar casing and dual-core processor. Add in the fact that it runs on Verizon’s 4G LTE network, and this is one of the fastest phones available.

Google Galaxy Nexus (Verizon): The Galaxy Nexus is the first phone to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, and comes packed with a dual-core processor and button-free design. Like the RAZR, it runs on Verizon’s 4G LTE network and is set to be a speed demon.

Samsung Galaxy S II LTE (AT&T): Recently announced by AT&T, the Galaxy S II LTE edition is a simple revamp of the already popular Galaxy S II. It takes the great hardware that made the Galaxy S II a must-have, and throws in 4G speeds.

Samsung Epic 4G Touch (Sprint): This is Sprint’s edition of the Galaxy S II. It sports a larger 4.6-inch screen and runs on Sprint’s 4G WiMax network. It’s easily one of the fastest two phones on Sprint, in terms of both data speed and hardware.

HTC EVO 3D: As the name implies, the EVO 3D is a 3D entry into HTC’s popular EVO series. The device is a phone that appeals to both 3D lovers and people who want to have a blazing fast data connection.

The high speeds of these phones aren’t just for bragging rights, either. Having a phone with high speeds means you can do more. Video chatting is smoother and has less lag when it’s done over a 4G device. Video streaming is more vivid and has less buffering and stutters. All of these phones are even capable of 4G tethering, where you share your phone’s high-speed connection with your computer. It all comes down to being entertained more and waiting less.

The 4G speeds aren’t limited to phones, either. You can get 4G speeds from wireless internet providers such as Clear Internet, and enjoy 4G speeds on your laptop. These are cream of the crop as far as fast smartphones go. They’ll do everything you want them to, and they’ll do it fast.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus, the first device to feature Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich, has gone on sale in the UK. Available first through Phones4U before being made available through carriers T-Mobile, Vodafone, Orange and O2, Android fans have already been reported to be queuing up to get their hands on the new device.

Yet for some bloggers and journalists, they have already played with the new device and have been able to post their reviews online. On the whole the Nexus has won a positive response. Its tech specs are certainly impressive. It is a big phone with a 4.65” display. Under the bonnet it is no less impressive with a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. It has a 5 megapixel camera on the back and 1.3 megapixel camera on the front for video calls and the like.

One review describes the Nexus as being “slick-looking”. Even though it has the supersized screen, it does not feel bulky. The HD Super AMOLED technology means the screen is “crisp and bright, with brilliant colours that really pop”, suggesting the device builds on from where the Samsung Galaxy SII began in terms of display. Another review also notes their surprise that the device is “pleasantly light and thin” dismissing those suggestions than the size of the screen might make this feel like a large and unwieldy device. The build quality is “typically Samsung” the blogger adds which is both good and bad – Samsung has been criticised in the past for producing a cover that feels a little plasticky, not as comfortable as the polycarbonate cover designed by Nokia for the N9 and now the Lumia 800. The screen, the blogger adds is “simply gorgeous” but the auto brightness, while working well in daylight is not as responsive in lowlight.

Another reviewer has compared the 5 megapixel camera with the 8 megapixel iPhone 4S. Taking pictures in both low lights on both devices there was a minimal difference. The Samsung camera starts up quickly and takes rapid pictures, the review continues. It also takes panoramic shots, a hidden feature also available on the iPhone 4S.

A review in the Telegraph spends more time considering Android 4.0 rather than the handset. A new font used across the whole device makes it feel “classy” and it is easier to get to recently used apps. Face Unlock, a new feature allowing users to use face recognition to unlock their phone, took time to work well. Android Beam, a new feature allowing to send files from one phone to another, is much the same as the app Bump. It is, however, the first time an Android device has felt like a “premium experience” according to this reviewer. There are bugs and it will take time for app developers to catch up with Ice Cream Sandwich. It is likely this will be ironed out by the time Android 4.0 is rolled out to other devices.

Android has had a great 2011 and the Galaxy Nexus is the cherry on the top. The majority reviews give the device four or five stars, suggesting although there may be a few bugs, it is an enjoyable experience and a great device to use. Bugs in an operating system at launch are usually ironed out in later updates. Over the coming days and weeks as handsets are sent out via the mobile carriers in the UK and the launch extends globally, the real response to the Galaxy Nexus will be felt. But for the moment, Google and Samsung must be pleased with the reviews.

Motorola released its brand new cell phone, the Droid RAZR, on the 18th of October, claiming that its phone is the “impossibly thin” smart phone that will conquer the market. With its core made of stainless steel, a screen of solid Gorilla glass, and a Splash guard that protects the internal components inside the phone, the Droid RAZR may be able to succeed in giving Motorola an edge over some of its main competitors.

The smart phone is 7.1 mm thick, and it is a good deal slimmer than the majority of the 3G phones currently on the market. The Droid RAZR is the name given to it in the United States, where it will be running on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network. It will be marketed as the Motorola RAZR in other countries, and there will be more information on the carriers and networks compatible with the device coming in the future.

The RAZR features a 4.3 inch wide screen, qHD resolution, and Super AMOLED lighting. Motorola claims that this will provide the phone with a better color and contrast than the iPhone 4S. The dual core, 1.2 GHz processor will run the phone at lightning speeds, and Motorola boasts that the RAZR will be the first phone that will be able to access and download Netflix movies in full HD.

Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 is the OS for the RAZR, as the phone was launched before Google’s release of its Ice Cream Sandwich OS in the next few days. As with all Motorola phones, the RAZR can be docked on a Motorola lapdock to give it full Firefox capabilities. Smart Actions is a feature that enables users to save battery life with simple actions like switching GPS and Bluetooth off automatically, and it has a number of automated features that make using the phone a delight. The MotoCast streaming software enables users to stream content to their phones from their computers, this giving them instant access to personal media.

iPhone has already proven to be the best selling phone in history, but it looks to obtain an even larger share of the smart phone market as a result of the poor performance of many of their competitors’ smart phones. Almost 25% of the people who visited Apple stores around the world stated that they were getting rid of their , Android-based smart phones, and Nokia phones, an October 14th interview with Reuters declared.

Many of the people flocking to the Apple stores are looking for a new phone from the top smart phone retailer in the hopes of getting a phone that will provide them quality for the cost. Many manufacturers are surprised to find that the majority of the people buying iPhones are those fed up with the poor quality of their phones and looking for better quality. A number of potential iPhone customers stated that the outage Blackberry faced lately was a major factor in their decision to leave Research in Motion in favor of its main competitor.

iPhone has already been capturing more than its share of the smart phone market, especially after the abysmal failure of Symbian by Nokia. While the company has abandoned the OS in favor of the new Microsoft Phone OS, both it and Blackberry have been struggling to stay competitive in the market that is clearly in favor of the more advanced and user friendly iPhone.

With the release of the iPhone 4S, Apple cemented its place as the primary smart phone provider. More than 1 million pre-orders were placed before the phone was even available in stores, an indication that more and more people are finding the Apple smart phones to be the top phones on the market. Many of the professionals and workers choosing work phones are selecting Apple as the device of choice, and the Apple 4S with its Siri voice command feature is truly taking the world by storm.

Nokia phones were once chunky, weighty devices that were unwieldy at the best of times. The Nokia N9 phone, however, is a sleek, lightweight smartphone that, by its appearance, promises to be one of the best mobile phones released in 2011. But what does the Nokia N9 offer, and does the hardware and functionality match the elegant look of the smartphone?

The Nokia N9 offers a smart phone with much simpler aesthetics, a buttonless exterior, and a simple boxy design made with sleek polycarbonate. The N9 rests nicely on the palm, though it feels slightly like a costly toy that could be easily broken. The downside to the sleek, simplistic design is the lack of the micro SD card port, as well as the inability to replace the phone’s battery without actually breaking the phone open. For those who need removable storage, however, there is always the option of upgrading the internal SD card to a 64 GB one.

The AMOLED screen measures 3.9 inches in width with a 854 x 480 resolution, 1 GB of RAM, and an A8-based CPU. The unlock feature tends to be annoying, as it is difficult to swipe, thanks to the lack of intuition, and it takes a few tries to actually unlock the phone. Running too many applications on the phone is likely to make it crash, and the MeeGo OS is one that is likely to end its lifecycle in the near future.

In the end, it comes down to the fact that Nokia sacrificed too much functionality for the aesthetics with the N9. Nokia is also short on apps, meaning the functionality of the N9 is fairly limited. The two features that save the phone are the camera and the sleek design of the N9, but overall it is a costly phone that fails to live up to the high standards of smart phones of today.

Acer Aspire comes with a 13.3 inch screen, a 320GB hard drive, a Core i7 processor, 4GB of RAM and Windows 7 Home Premium. Acer Aspire S3 is the first Ultrabook from Acer.

It is a well known fact that solid state drives have an ability to increase a computer’s performance as compared to a device which has an ordinary spinning drive. The new S3 comes with a solid state drive which ensures its good performance.

Acer claims that the Aspire can give 6 continuous hours of regular use and also it can provide the user with a standby time of 50 days which is really amazing.

For those who love to have sleek and light laptops are going to love it. It has a weight of 2.98 pounds and measure 0.68 of an inch at its thickest point. It is going to take half the space in your bag than most laptops do. It features two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI and 3.5mm jacks and also an SD card reader.

The 13 inch screen has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. The display is not very bright. It is a bit difficult to make out the screen details in outdoors at day time.

Talking about the keyboard now…the keys are a good size but there are some flaws as well. The Enter key has been split in two. This is something that you will have to adapt to and it will surely take some time. The trackpad is a nice size and also offers features including two finger scrolling and pinch zooming.

It features a 1.3MP webcam which captures fairly bright and nice images. While video conferencing, skin tones remain accurate and audio also remains in sync.

If you are looking for an ultra book that can suit your budget which is not very high then you can choose Acer Aspire S3. Overall results might not be excellent but you can get good performance in low budget.
