iPhone 4 launched in UAE and Qatar , without FaceTime

The iPhone 4 has been launched in UAE and Qatar this weekend but it is notified by some buyers of it that they didn’t get the FaceTime facility. We know that how much this feature is important because this feature is the main point of interest for the user of iPhone 4.

According to National, iPhone 4 which has sold in the United Arab Emirates through Etisalat and du, and in Qatar via Vodafone, doesn’t have video chat features. The carriers are blaming Apple regarding this issue. The spokesmen of both carriers are in talk with Apple about reinstating FaceTime post-haste.

According to TUAW report, the face time was working on the phone when some people tested this phone bought abroad but when an update of iOS 4.i is installed in the Phone, this feature vanished.
