LG is Working for Dual-Screen Smartphones ; Patent Filed

LG Electronics has applied for a number of Dual-Screen Smartphones  and we came  to know about this news from the pocketnow.com. There are  two types of LG dual-screen Design one smartphone featured with a traditional slider  having dual display  (see below) whereas  another smartphone comes with a distinctive body style combine with a wonderful opening and closing mechanism.

One display in these smartphones will work for seeing the content while the user can be used as an extension of first display ; for example if the user want to view the large webpage or want to check a map then second display can be used as an extension for first one. Not only this can the user use the second screen for various purposes like it can employ as a virtual keyboard or as a media control pad.

The user of Slider dual- screen smart phone will be able to switch the video to the second display while browsing the webpages  on the upper screen.   The user get a chance to use  the secondary display as a monitor via which he can  view the large web images and pictures  in a broad spectrum.
It is no the first time that the smartphone manufacturing companies are experimenting dual display design as we have several examples such as Toshiba Libretto W105  and Nintendo 3DS.  We also well familiar with a hardware keyboard that comes with  internal and external screens one is LG enV Touch and another is unreleased  enV Pro.

This new display and hardware also resembles these smartphones with HTC Touch Pro 2, or Nokia N97 though more stable form factor you will get this time.

We don’t know exactly when finally we will have these Dual-Screen Smartphones of LG but stay Tuned!
