Motorola EX232 Rugged Feature-Phone lands in Hong Kong for Only $125

Motorola EX232 is a latest rugged phone from the house of Moto. What makes this handset quite suitable for harsh environment is its splash and dust resistant capability. It comes with durable design that’s mean nothing will get damaged in case it dips into a pool. This feature phone is now available all major retailer outlets and authorized sellers of Hong Kong for HK$999 (about $125).

General Manager for Motorola’s Hong Kong and Taiwan Devices, Ritchie Ma said:

Motorola EX232 Feature phone is designed with Candy bar form factor and dual display: a main 2.8-inch QVGA resistive touch screen and a secondary OLED monochrome display that boosts up the resolution of 96 x 96 pixels. The secondary display is somewhat similar to Samsung Continuum handset; it notifies incoming calls, messages, and emails on currently playing music tracks.

There is a 2MP snapper which lets you to capture images and record videos of your choice. For entertainment purpose, it brings, FM stereo with RDS and MP3 player and same is available with Motorola Atrix 4G though EX232 provides support to 3G network. Some other features of this gadget are 128 MB of RAM, 64 MB of internal memory, and a microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 16 GB).

As it launched for Hong Kong market therefore it equips with some features which are unique for this area such as Chinese handwriting, Chinese stroke input, Pinyin and English.
