Motorola i1Q, a Rugged PTT Android Handset revealed

Motorola i1Q has juts leaked by GrupoAndroid and you will readily get an idea that it is a successor of Motorola i1 that first came in summer. However what is interesting thing is that i1Q is not resembled with i1 in its looks because it somewhat matches up with the BlackBerry QWERTY model. The word Q that is added in the name may be stand for the QWERTY functionality but nothing is certain at this moment.

Motorola i1Q maintain the PTT functionality so the people who want to enjoy a low-end rugged gadget can go for this handset. The least attractive thing in this moto handset is the Android Éclair operating system. In 2011 we have the mobile phone which are running on Android 2.3 a.k.a. Gingerbread platform and at the same time we have expectation that soon we will get a mobile phone with honeycomb operating system; a number of people don’t like the presence of Éclair.

The pictures of Motorola i1Q also hit the web. It is also reported from the un-official sources that this rugged handset will not come with a powerful processor.

One who likes the Motorola DEFY may go for Motorola i1Q as both are rugged and somehow low-end devices.
