Mozilla will release Fennec Alpha for Android (2.0 or higher) and Nokia N900 Soon

Mozilla has announced about the Alpha release of its next mobile browser named as Fennec that is best suited with Android and Nokia N900. This browser brings the add-on and  will render the same technology that you get through Firefoex for the desktop.

The Fennec will  feature with the Firefox Sync built right into your browser so now you will get the similar enjoyable browsing experience of  Firefox Desktop on your mobile phone too .

Just because of Firefox Fennec, now you can synchronize your data such as FireFox history, bookmarks, open tabs and password between your desktop and mobile. If you want to avail this facility, then you only have to login to your Firefox sync account and Fennec will identify you. It is said by Mozilla that the main reason behind this launch is to increase the performance and responsiveness of browser towards the  user’s action.

In the blog posts it is said ;

This is being implemented using two major technologies, “Electrolysis” and “Layers.” This Alpha release includes Electrolysis, which allows the browser interface to run in a separate process from the one rendering Web content. By doing this, Fennec is able to react much faster to user input while pages are loading or CPU intensive JavaScript is running.

You must noted that Mozilla said that although this version will be worked with Android 2.0 or higher yet it will be optimized for the Nexus One.

Currently, we don’t know exactly when this version of Fennec will be released but we will update you once we get the info; so stay tuned!
