Preview: Samsung Ch@t B3410W touchscreen QWERTY slider

At the MWC in Barcelona, Spain February this year, Samsung unveiled the high end Samsung Wave S8500 mobile phone and also the Samsung I8520 along with their new mobile operating system Bada. Other phones were also launched by Samsung however they were mostly eclipsed by these cutting edge phones. The Samsung Ch@t B3410W is one such and below we will share with all we know of this upcoming phone from Samsung, including official pictures of the Samsung Ch@t B3410W smart phone.

The Samsung Ch@t B3410W smart phone is a side-slide QWERTY style smart phone that is essentially targeted at the segment of the market that is infatuated with texting. Some of you might have heard of the Samsung B3410 which has already been released in certain markets and wondering what the fuss is all about but the difference between the Samsung Ch@t B3410W cellphone and the Samsung B3410 is – as the “W” suggests – the inclusion of Wi-Fi connectivity.

The technical specifications for the Samsung Ch@t B3410W mobile phone are as follows: quad-band GSM for global roaming and EDGE class data transfer capability, a 2.6″ QVGA TFT touchscreen display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, a 2 MP camera with auto-focus, microSD/microSDHC with support for up to 16 GB of expandable memory and 2 GB of in-built memory.

The Samsung Ch@t B3410W cellphone also features the Touchwiz 2.0 UI and also has a native SNS (Social Networking Sites) application which should allow you to connect to your favorite social networking site and see your friends’ updates, etc.

To conclude, the Samsung Ch@t B3410W smart phone is a device which we look forward to testing out when we can get our hands on it once it is released but we figure that texting enthusiasts will heartily embrace the Samsung Ch@t B3410W cellphone when it hits the markets.
