Samsung 4GB Galaxy SL Smartphone has launched silently in India

Samsung Galaxy SL 4GB has silently launched in the Indian market. It is really a surprise as we didn’t hear anything about its launch before. We got the detail of its launch from the Samsung Indian site. In this Galaxy S version, the hardware changes have not made but the internal memory of it is reduced to 4GB.

However, you still get the option of microSD card that normally comes with Galaxy S Smartphone and through this card you are better able to extend the memory up to 32 GB whenever you need some extra storage.

We already informed you that the Galaxy SL is designed with a 4 inch super clear LCD touchscreen and you will not find the AMOLED screen goodness that comes in original Galaxy S gadgets.  The 5 MP autofocus camera with face, smile and blink detection is come to facilitate the user to capture his memorable events without any difficulty while the feature of 720p HD video recording at 30fps lets the user to record high quality videos. For video chat and video-calling you will also get the secondary camera.

It runs on Android 2.2 Froyo platform just like HTC Freestyle handset. Other features of Samsung Galaxy SL includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b, g and n support, microUSB port (charging) and stereo Bluetooth v3.0 , Standard 3.5 mm audio jack , Accelerometer and proximity sensor and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA and 5.76 Mbps HSUPA support .

Samsung Galaxy SL 4GB smartphone is now available in theIndian market with the price tag of 20,479 INR (about $450).
