Samsung B5310 CorbyPro smart phone review

The Samsung B5310 CorbyPro cellphone is the flagship Corby device and has the family standard replaceable battery cover (known as Fashion Jackets) which comes in various fun colors. Also, the Samsung B5310 CorbyPro mobile phone manages to include practically every feature in a stylish yet fun design supplemented with the Cartoon UI which does tend to limit the Corby line somewhat to youths. Below we take a look at why we consider the fun yet practical Samsung B5310 CorbyPro smart phone a rather good deal even for people not particularly taken with its flashy interface.

The technical details and specifications of the Samsung B5310 CorbyPro are a very good argument for our belief as it has a 2.8″ QVGA TFT touchscreen (admittedly resistive rather than capacitive) with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, accelerometer, microSD for up to 16 GB of expandable memory, Bluetooth, FM radio, a 3.15 MP camera with geo-tagging and smile detection, microUSB and quad-band GSM.

Not only that, but the Samsung B5310 CorbyPro cellphone also has Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g), GPS and 3G access through HSPA. Few phones manage to combine all these features and if they do are usually available at prices beyond the reach of the common man but the Samsung B5310 CorbyPro is priced fairly reasonably and can be purchased for about 190 Euros or $260.

With the multiple advantages of a touchscreen, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity along with all the standard features available in run-of-the-mill phones, its not hard to see why the Samsung B5310 CorbyPro mobile phone is in our view “a rather good deal” considering its price.

But more than that, in a generation where connectivity is not an added benefit but rather a requirement for cellphones and smart phones and in fact mobile devices in general, the Samsung B5310 Corby Pro smart phone manages to provide all forms of connectivity commercially available in handheld devices at the time of its release.
