Samsung Galaxy Q will be released by Rogers in third quarter of 2011

Samsung Galaxy Q is an unannounced handset that will become a part of Roger’s mobile phones offerings. We first want to say thanks to MobileSyrup for this info and then want to proceed with this interesting technology news. Actually, Rogers, Canadian mobile phone carrier, is going to add some more categories of smartphone. The purpose of this addition is make smartphone selection process simple and easy for the customers. Now, the “smartphone Lite” category is there to inform the consumers about a handset that possess the more function as compared to a featurephone. In order to give an example of this category Rogers mention the three smartphone including Samsung Galaxy Q.

You may surprise after hearing the name of Galaxy Q but there is no need to amaze; as we have some idea about this Galaxy version. Just remember the last summer when we first got a rumor of a miniaturized version of the Epic 4G i.e. Samsung Galaxy Q. We also heard that this device will be featured with a three-inch screen. However, currently we met with a new model which will be designed with a tablet-boundary-pushing 5.3-inch display.

According to MobileSyrup’s source, the Galaxy Q that will arrive at Rogers will be the same device about which we heard some news in last summer. The hardware specs of Galaxy Q are still scarce but it is quite sure that the handset will come with Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform support same as of HTC Desire S, HTC Wildfire S , ZTE Amigo, etc. We will be able to see this handset in third quarter of this year because it is supposed to launch at this time.  You can see the unclear glimpse of it, in above snapshot; it’s supposedly a phone in the back of two handsets.
