Samsung W899, an Android 2.2 powered Flip handset unveiled in China

Samsung W899 is a stylish device that has released by Samsung  in China last day. This Samsung phone is running on Android 2.2 operating system a.k.a Froyo and on the same platform  Motorola XT800 Golden handset is running.  It will provide support to both CDMA (800/1900MHz) and GSM (900/1800/1900MHz) networks. What make its stylish and fabulous is its dual 3.3-inch Super AMOLED touchscreens combines with WVGA resolution.

The user will be able to use the Samsung W899 as a regular touchscreen phone or as a clamshell  . It is about 17.5mm thin.  It is regarded as the company first Android flip phone.You may watch the launch video of Samsung W899 mobile phone from here .

It  will be first headed to China via China Telecom. We don’t know what it will launch to Europe. No word about its pricing at this time.
