Sonim XP1300 core finally announced

Sonim XP1300 is an upcoming model of Sonim that has been announced officially so now we have its official specification sheet.  It is expected that this phone will come into the market in the next month and Vodafone 553 will also launch in the same month.  The phone provides support to only 2G network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900  that’ mean you will not find 3G capabilities in this gadget.

What makes Sonia XP1300 core handset different from other cellphone is XP1300 Core IP68 Certification about which we leaked some information a week ago.  The dimensions of this phone are 126 x 60 x 25 mm and its weight is about 185 grams. It is designed with 2.0 inches TFT screen that comes with the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and around 65K colors. The best facet of this gadget is that it is equipped with shock and scratch resistant Gorilla glass display that’s mean utmost protection of screen is guaranteed.

This Sonim phone will be running on MediaTek MT6235 platform and lets you to send and receive sms, mms and email but up to a limited amount. For data sharing purpose, it combines with Bluetooth version 2.1 with A2DP. You will also get a 3.5 mm audio jack and memory card slot option that expend the memory up to 8GB. There is no camera in this mobile phone. It supports an FM radio and Opera Mini Browser.  It will be available in two different shaded such as simple black and black with yellow.

Sonia XP1300 is IP68  certified so it will have dust resistance and water submersible capability  (up to 2m for 30 mins).  The features make it wonderful are MIL-STD 810G-grade salt, fog, humidity, transport shock and thermal shock resistant, Operational range -20°C to +55°C, Drop-to-concrete resistance from up to 2m and Shock/vibration resistant.
