Vertu Ascent X cellphone preview

Vertu is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nokia and is a maker of luxury cellphones that has been around for slightly more than a decade now. Recently, the Vertu Ascent X cellphone was spotted on the Bluetooth SIG website and looks set to be the next in line in the Ascent series of cellphones, the designs of which are inspired by cars. There is no no availability or pricing information regarding the Vertu Ascent X mobile phone as of yet but we do know some features and have a couple of pictures all of which you will find after the break.

The Vertu Ascent X smart phone is truly versatile with dual mode operation with quad band WCDMA (2100/1900/850/800 MHz) as well as quad band GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) as well as 3G access through HSDPA/HSUPA.

While a full list of technical specifications and details is as yet unavailable, we do know that the Vertu Ascent X cellphone has the following features: a 2″ QVGA TFT 16 million color display, 5 MP camera with auto-focus and integrated LED flash, torch utilizing the LED flash, 32 GB of internal memory, Bluetooth 2.0, A-GPS and e-mail support through SMTP/POP3/IMAP4 client.
